The Olympus 35DC (Delux compact) was introduced in 1971 as the fully automatic sibling to the renowned Olympus 35RD.

The Olympus 35DC is a fully automatic compact rangefinder camera, that features the 40mm Zuko F1.7 composed of 6 elements in 4 groups for unparalleled sharpness, a backlight compensation mode, a fully automatic program system that calculates the correct exposure through the camera CDS eye, and a shutter range of 1/15sec at F1.7 and 1/500 sec at F16.
