The Minolta SR-7 is a 35mm manual focus SLR.
The SR-7 was Minolta’s fourth SLR to be manufactured. The SR-7 is a simple to use manual 35mm SLR. The SR-7 is part of the SR series launched in 1959-1971. The various SR models were less expensive than the new, auto-focus cameras, but still had many of the features that a new or experienced photographer needed. The SR-7 model was most famous for being the first camera to have a built in CdS light meter. Fully manual apart from the Cell 625 battery to power the exposure meter. After the production of the SR-7 came the production of the SRT series in 1966.
